THE DEATH ROAD

From La Paz we headed to Corico in the Jungle via the ´most dangerous road´in the WORLD! Ya, thats right. We started at 4800m amist snowy mountains and riding down icy and misty roads (extremely fast tarmac for the first 20km, gravel for the remainder), decsending 64km to 1295m above sea level. From freezing temp to sauna jungle. Wasted hands and extremely sore butts but well worth it.

Part of the Death Road....misty and very narrow. Basically the whole way down was edged by a 150m shear drop. Only just wide enough for a truck to fit down....a little tricky when there´s one coming from each direction!
