SALAR DE UYUNI
We ventured out on a three day ultimate Bolivian adventure to the Salt Flats in the south of the country. Spent the first day driving across the vast Salar de Uyuni (Salt Flats), stayed in the middle of nowhere in a ¨mummy¨town, visited many lakes including Laguna Colorada, the famous red lake of South America. Travelled with some cool cats: Valintine (Germany), Sabrina and Lyla (Switzerland) and of course our chauffer Elfrin. Absolutely froze our butts off at almost 5000m above sea level (for reference, Mt Cook is approx 3809m).
